Nadal powers into third round defeating Istomin
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Defending champion Rafael Nadal continued his march towards a record-breaking seventh French Open title with a 6-2 6-2 6-0 demolition of Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin in the second round.
The sides were at court for an hour and 50 minutes. Nadal claimed 25 winners compared to 16 of Denis Istomin. Uzbek top player made 25 unforced errors against 17 of Nadal.
In the third round, Nadal will play against Eduardo Schwank of Argentina.
