Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva in New York at the 68th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women held a meeting with the Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan.

Practical aspects of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

Vice President of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan warmly recalled a fruitful conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the sidelines of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia summit in Astana and a short stay in Tashkent in October 2022.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the establishment and development of inter-parliamentary relations, the implementation of educational and other joint humanitarian programs.

At the end of the meeting, Vo Thi Anh Xuan was invited to take part in the Asian Women’s Forum, which will be held in Samarkand.
