Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information initiated the construction of museum in 2008 and enterprises of industry contributed to the construction.

Three-storyed building presents wide-scale exhibits on developing of telecommunication industry of Uzbekistan. It is worth to note that the society contributed to formation of exhibits of the museum and presented various historic objects.

One of the exhibits is mobile handset, which was used to make first mobile call by the Uzbek President Islam Karimov on 26 August 1992.
