MTZ to Supply Over 3,000 Units of Equipment to Uzbekistan by the End of 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minsk Tractor Plant (OAO “MTZ”) will deliver more than 3,000 tractors and tractor kits to Uzbekistan by the end of this year. This was announced by Mikhail Vardugin, Deputy Marketing Director for Commercial Operations in CIS Markets and Head of the Promotion and Sales Department for CIS countries, as reported by “Traktor.by.”

According to Vardugin, MTZ launched a large-scale project in Uzbekistan in 2025, which includes the establishment of a joint assembly plant in the city of Nurafshon. The facility will produce BELARUS tractors with engine power ranging from 80 to 212 horsepower. The first shipments of tractor kits have already begun.

Currently, there are seven assembly sites for BELARUS-branded equipment across the CIS: three in Kazakhstan, and one each in Russia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan. As Vardugin noted, the company continues to actively expand its presence throughout the post-Soviet region.

In addition, two new investment projects are being developed to establish assembly facilities in the Russian Federation, based on the MTZ-Tatarstan and MTZ-Northwest trading houses.

MTZ products remain in high demand in Uzbekistan, where the government is actively working to modernize agriculture and upgrade the technical capabilities of the agro-industrial sector.

The implementation of the current project is expected to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of mechanical engineering and to provide Uzbek farmers with modern, reliable agricultural machinery.
