The subscribers to service can make international calls on decreased prices, the operator said in a statement.

From 1 January 2012, MTS Uzbekistan offers subscribers to use updated service “Blizkiyi Strani”. With help of the service, the subscribers can make calls to Europe, Southern and Northern America, Asia and Australia at the price of $0.99 per minute.

The calls to the CIS states (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine) and Georgia are US$0.25 per minute as earlier. The subscription fee is US$0.02 per day and activation fee – US$0.05.
