MTS-Uzbekistan serves over 7.19m users

Number of subscribers of MTS-Uzbekistan, largest mobile operator in Uzbekistan, made up 7.19 million as of 31 January 2010.
Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems OJSC, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS, said the subscribers’ base rose by 1.7% compared to December 2009.
Number of subscribers increased by 25.4% or 1.46 million compared to the same period of 2009, the Russian company noted.
