MTS Uzbekistan launches new GPRS packages, cuts prices

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- MTS Uzbekistan, subsidiary of Russia's Mobile TeleSystems, launched two new GPRS packages Internet 2000 and Internet 5000, and decreased the prices of the existing GPRS packages.

MTS Uzbekistan said it is continuing to develop product lines with use of mobile Internet. From 15 July, the operator offers subscribers good opportunity to optimize expenses on GPRS-Internet. Now, the subscribers receive more traffic at lower price. Now, the company offers seven packages.

Nuriddin Shadmanov, MTS Uzbekistan deputy director-general on commerce, said: “Number of mobile Internet users are increasing and out subscribers use Internet at work, home and in education. Our company introduces new GPRS packages to decrease subscribers expenses to Internet.”
