The project on migration of subscribers to new billing system is carried out within implementation of MTS strategy on harmonization of IN-platform vendors – hardware and software complexes, which will allow to carry out tariffication in real time and provide additional services along with voice services.

The operator said that new system will allow subscribers to follow their balance in real time. The system will also warn users to make payment for services, when their balance will reach US$0.5.

The system will also provide such services as “Positive nil” and “Promised payment”. The “Positive nil” service allows users to receive incoming calls and SMS messages even if their balance is equal to zero. The subscribers can receive loan within the “Promised payment”. After three days, the sum will be withdrawn from their future payments.

New platform will also improve self-service systems such as voice portal (IVR) and internet system for subscribers service.

The operator said that it will migrate subscribers to new system gradually. Subscribers will be informed on start and end of migration.
