Number of MTS Uzbekistan subscribers, largest mobile communication operator of Uzbekistan, made up 9.83 million as of 31 August 2011.
Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS states, said that the subscriber base of the company grew by 2.4% or 230,000 users compared to July 2011.
Consolidated number of subscribers of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC made up 101.4 million users as of 31 August 2011. In August 2011, the consolidated subscriber base of MTS fell by 0.24 million users.
MTS Uzbekistan (Uzdunrobita) is one of the largest mobile operators in Uzbekistan. From August 2004, the operator enters to structure of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (Russia).
