MTS Uzbekistan decreases cost of Internet traffic at MTS VIP tariff plan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
MTS Uzbekistan, largest mobile communication operator of Uzbekistan and 100% subsidiary of Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, announced that it decreased the cost of Internet traffic at MTS VIP tariff plan by 50%.
From 1 January 2012, MTS VIP tariff plan subscribers can use internet for US$0.08 per 1 Mb compared to previous price of US$0.16 per Mb.
The company said that all incoming calls and outgoing calls within the tariff plan are free. The price of all other outgoing calls is US$0.03 per minute. There is also subscription fee – US$0.2 per day.
Nuriddin Shadmanov, Deputy Director –General of MTS Uzbekistan on commerce, said that the price cut of Internet traffic will allow to increase number of subscribers, who use mobile Internet traffic.
