From 11 April 2011, unique service Mobile Television, offered by MTS Uzbekistan, was added by two channels – Yoshlar and Sport TV of National Television and Radio Channel of Uzbekistan. Now, MTS Uzbekistan subscribers can watch such channels as : O’zbekiston, Markaz TV, Yoshlar and Sport TV.

Nuriddin Shadmanov, deputy director-general on commerce of MTS Uzbekistan, said that the company pays special attention to development of additional services along with the voice transfer. Mobile Television service allows MTS Uzbekistan subscribers to watch their favourite films or programmes anywhere from their mobile handsets, he added.

Subscribers will require handsets with 3G support with Video Streaming function and should be at 3G network coverage area. The cost of the service is US$0.05 per minute.
