MPs pass law on ordering pyrotechnics circulation in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
MPs of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed the law, which envisages ordering pyrotechnics circulation in the country.
The law “On introduction of amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with ordering pyrotechnics circulation” was reviewed at the session of the lower house of parliament on 22 June 2010.
The law introduces licensing of pyrotechnics circulation, strengthening administrative and criminal responsibility for their illegal turnover.
In line with the document, the development, production, transportation, storage, realization, exploitation, destruction and utilization of pyrotechnics will be licensed.
During the discussions, MPs underlined importance of effective state control over pyrotechnics circulation, protection of rights and interests of citizens, ensuring public security. The document was passed and handed over to Senate for approval.
