The document was submitted to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan by MPs and currently it is considered in the first reading.

The draft law was developed to ensure rights of citizens for move from one place to another within Uzbekistan, further improvement and simplification of order of their registration in Tashkent city and Tashkent region, prevent corruption at considering issuing residence permits, etc.

Milliy Tiklanish Democratic Party underlined that the project will ensure constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens and said it requires further improvement. MPs approved the concept of the draft law.
