Now, mortgage loans for the construction of individual houses and affordable houses for standard projects in rural areas will be provided for a period of 20 years with a two-year (starting from 1 January 2020 - one-year) grace period (to date, issued for a period of 15 years from 6 monthly grace period).

Also, one-story 3-room affordable residential buildings located on land plots of 0.02 hectares, and four-story affordable multi-family (2- and 3-bedroom) houses are considered affordable residential buildings.

The size of the mortgage loan is set at a rate not exceeding 90 percent of the estimated cost of an affordable apartment building.

In addition, a mortgage loan will be issued to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who are over 18 years old and have not reached 60 years of age (to obtain such a loan, there is no upper age limit to date).
