Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Due to heavy rains, an accident occurred in Khorezm region, leaving 12,500 people without power supply.

A major outage occurred on 41 power lines of 6-10 kV with a capacity of 78 MW.

As a result of the accident, due to heavy rains, residents of the Khozarasp, Bogota, Khankai, Kushkupir and Yangiarik districts were left without power supply.

Experts began troubleshooting despite the weather conditions.
