Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The leadership of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visiting Jizzakh region, studied the development of cashless payments and the conditions created for users of payment services in the region.

During the monitoring process, the quality and continuity of payment services provided to the population within the existing infrastructure, as well as the equipment of trade and service enterprises with the required number of terminals and their operating condition were studied.

At the same time, a meeting was held with bank employees, during which they discussed in detail issues related to meeting customer needs in the payment services market, further expansion of contactless payment instruments and remote service systems, as well as widespread online payments 24/7.

In addition, the working group, together with representatives of local authorities, discussed in detail measures to reduce the share of the shadow economy through the development of cashless payment systems.
