Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The management of the Central Bank visited Kashkadarya region in order to study the conditions for expanding the infrastructure of payment systems, as well as monitoring the work being done to develop the system of non-cash payments in the region.

During the trip, practical seminars were organized for employees of commercial banks. At the seminar, employees got acquainted in more detail with the possibilities of new payment services, including contactless payments via QR codes and the system of instant payments 24/7.

It was noted that great attention should be paid to the full provision of business entities with payment terminals, uninterrupted operation of ATMs and timely satisfaction of the population's demand for bank cards.

In addition, the need to expand remote banking services in the current pandemic conditions was emphasized, by explaining to customers about the benefits and convenience of these services.

Along with other activities, the working group provided assistance in improving the knowledge and skills of employees of trade and service enterprises in this area, in particular, the necessary instructions for using payment terminals were given.
