Mongolian airline Hunnu Air considers launching flights to Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan Airports has held negotiations with Mongolian airline Hunnu Air to discuss potential cooperation in the aviation sector.
During the meeting, the parties explored the possibility of launching a direct regular passenger flight between Tashkent and Ulaanbaatar.
Hunnu Air is expected to introduce this route in the second half of 2025, with preliminary plans to operate flights using Embraer 190 aircraft.
Founded in 2011, Hunnu Air is a private Mongolian airline headquartered in Ulaanbaatar. Its main hub is located at Chinggis Khaan International Airport. The carrier operates domestic and international flights with a fleet consisting of ATR 72-500 and Embraer 190 aircraft.
