Modern tourist resorts to be created in the village of "Nanai"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Modern tourist resorts will be created in the village of "Nanai". This is stated in the decree of the khokim of Namangan region "On measures for the further development of tourism and ecotourism in Yangikurgan region", which is aimed at further increasing the potential of tourism and ecotourism in the village "Nanai", providing employment to local population and improvement of housing conditions.

On the territory of the village "Nanai" of Yangikurgan district of Namangan region, on the basis of many empty and abandoned recreation areas that have not been used for decades, modern tourist facilities will be created. The village will be turned into an ecotourism center.

Based on paragraph 4 of clause No. 9 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-5780 from 13 August 2019, ineffective, empty, abandoned and unused assets will be returned to the balance sheet of the khokimiyat of Yangikurgan district. Potential local and foreign investors will be attracted to create modern resorts in their place (campgrounds, camps, guest houses, etc.).

In order to radically improve the management of the tourism industry in Yangikurgan district under the regional administration, a "Directorate for the transformation of the village" Nanai "of Yangikurgan district into an ecotourism center, the operation of buildings and structures of recreation areas and the coordination of their activities is being created.

The Territorial Administration for Tourism Development was instructed to negotiate with local and foreign investors on transforming the village of Nanai into an ecotourism center, as well as to prepare a project for the allocation of some tourist sites on the basis of public-private partnership within a month, the press service of Uzbektourism reported.
