Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An earthquake with epicenter in Tajikistan was registered in Tashkent city at 06:42 (Tashkent time) on Thursday, 7 October 2010.

The earthquake magnitude in capital city of Uzbekistan was 2-2.5 points, Tashkent Seismic Station said.

The magnitude of earthquake at the epicenter, which is located 280 kilometers from Tashkent, was 5 points.
