Mobiuz and Perfectum to be privatized

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The government of Uzbekistan plans to gradually privatize mobile operators Mobiuz and Perfectum.

This is stipulated by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan "On measures to accelerate the reform of enterprises with the participation of the state and the privatization of state assets."

At the moment the state share in the authorized capital of the mobile operator Mobiuz is 100% and in Perfectum - 65%.

Both operators, in accordance with the decree of the head of state, were included in the list of state assets put up for public auction through targeted programs of pre-privatization preparation and increasing investment attractiveness.

At the same time, another mobile operator Ucell is included in the list of enterprises with the participation of the state, in which corporate governance and financial audit are being introduced, and operational efficiency is increasing.
