Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The French company "Montagne et Neige Développement (MND)" won the tender announced by the State Unitary Enterprise of the Project Office "Construction and Operation of the International All-Season Resort "Beldersoy-Chimyon-Nanai" within the realisation framework of the project "Construction of the Chimyon Tourist Zone".

In this regard, in the framework of the 9th session of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and France, an agreement was signed between the project office ""Beldirsoy-Chimyon-Nanay" International All-Season Resort Construction and Operation" on facilities construction of the international all-season resort "Chimyon" and the French company "Montagne et Neige Développement".

As a result of this project, an all-season complex of international level will be established, that offers various types of outdoor recreation to both residents of our country and foreign guests.

The project will include the construction of a 10-person gondola-type intermediate aerial railway (maximum capacity - 2,000 people/hour), which will lift visitors to a height of 2,515 metres, and an 80-person pendulum-type main aerial railway (maximum capacity - 800 people/hour), which will rise to a height of 3,309 metres. The resort will be the highest point in Central Asian countries with such facilities. There will also be organised more than 20 types of winter and summer attractions, such as XXL Zip line, Alpine coaster, Adventure tower, Tubing, Via ferrata, 11 ski resorts of different levels with a total length of more than 20 km, hotel complexes and cottages for 6,000 tourists.

The aim of this major initiative is to increase the investment attractiveness of the region through the construction of an international all-season resort, tourist spots and new tourist complexes with various entertainment attractions and ropeways, to develop the tourist infrastructure of the Tashkent region, and to stimulate mass sports in the mountainous areas of our country by providing conditions and new workplaces.

This will create an international all-season resort that will cater for 3.1 million people per year and create 451 new workplaces.
