MIU: Situation with flights between Tashkent and Kiev to be solved soon
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Ukraine cannot agree a number of flights on route Tashkent – Kiev – Tashkent.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Andrei Pivovarskiy expressed hope that situation with the flight between two flights will be solved next week, RBC-Ukraine reported.

He said that the Uzbek side wants that the Ukrainian side carry out one flight a week compared to two flights a week. If the Ukrainian airlines fly once a week, the flights will be economically ungrounded, which will mean that the Ukrainian airlines will automatically stop to fly on this route.

The Ukrainian minister noted that the Uzbek colleagues last year also called to decrease number of flights to once a week, while Ukrainian side wants two flights a week. He said that the negotiations will end next week and the companies will continue fly and will be happy.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari announced that it temporarily suspend flights on route Tashkent – Kiev – Tashkent from 12 May in connection with inexistence of agreement on the route between aviation administrations of two states.
