Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 July 2018, a meeting with the Deputy Chief of the Department of Minister for Foreign Economic and International Relations of the city of Moscow Oleg Shutenko was held at the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the sides considered the possibility of cooperation in implementation of the concept, such projects as “Safe City”, “Smart City”.
It was noted that, to date, a large number of projects on modernizing the urban environment have been successfully implemented in Moscow. In particular, the Russian side told about the implemented projects – an online service for interaction with the population, intelligent transport systems and others.
In turn, the Uzbek side informed about the ongoing work on implementation of the “Safe City” project in Uzbekistan. According to the Ministry, following the meeting, an agreement was reached on further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation.
