Mirziyoyev disagrees with forecast on state budget deficit
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, speaking at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers, expressed his disagreement with the proposal of the leadership of the Complex on macroeconomics on forecasting deficit of the state budget in 2017.

Uzbek leader said that it is not possible to agree with the proposal of the leadership of the Complex on macroeconomics – Rustam Azimov, - Minister of Economy Galina Saidova, Minister of Finance Botir Khodjaev on forecast of deficit of the state budget in 2017.

He said that the state budget should have surplus. This is one of strategic tasks, which do not require discussion, but should be fully executed.

Mirziyoyev said that the Complex on macroeconomics should travel to place and study opportunities of families to do business, solve problems of expanding financial and providing help to business entities.

President said that only with this way, the country could achieve necessary results. In this connection, governors and their first deputies should change their work methods and world view.

It is necessary to stop subvention of Karakalpakstan and all district of Tashkent region due to development of practical measures on increasing tax base in each city and district without taking into account contribution of large enterprises, he said.

Uzbek head said that 2017 will be examination to governors and other corresponding bodies on decreasing subventions.

He said that all ministries and departments, which are part of the Complex on macroeconomics, should work effectively to achieve results.

Mirziyoyev said that head of the Complex on macroeconomics (Rustam Azimov) should explain meaning of new system to all and ensure achievements of the results.
