Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 July, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

During the conversation, issues of further deepening Uzbek-Russian relations within the framework of a comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance were discussed.

During the conversation, Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday, wishing him good health, well-being, and great success.

Special attention was paid to practical aspects of implementing the agreements reached during Vladimir Putin's state visit to Uzbekistan from May 26 to 28 of this year.
