Sardor Rakhmatullaev was also re-elected as vice-president of the UFF. At the same time, Asqar Talibjanov was elected as vice-president of the federation on foreign relations.

Speaking at the conference, the UFF President Mirabrar Usmanov stated that in last eight years Uzbekistan invested over US$560 million to football development.

According to his data, Uzbekistan invested 132 billion soums (about US$60.1 million at the exchange rate of Central Bank of Uzbekistan). He said that 14 football schools, 4 football academies and 10 modern stadiums were constructed in the country.

Mr. Usmanov underlined that soon new stadium will be opened in Namangan. In March 2014, it is planned to launch another stadium in Ferghana.

He said that additional US$500 million were also directed t football development in Uzbekistan. He said that after the investments the results can be demanded from the teams.

It is worth to mention that Senator Mirabrar Usmanov is also the President of National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan. He has been heading the UFF since 2005.
