Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Mir payment system (Russia) and the UzCard payment system (Uzbekistan) signed a cooperation agreement.

The document was signed in Tashkent within the framework of the International Financial and Economic Forum of the CIS member states.

As part of the document, the contract envisages organization of the acceptance of World cards in the infrastructure of banks that are members of the UzCard payment system by the end of 2019.

It is planned that the continuation of the interaction of the two payment systems will also be ensuring the reception of UzCard cards in the infrastructure of Russian banks - members of the Mir payment system.

Also, the cooperation of the payment systems of two countries will give UzCard the opportunity to use the technologies of the Mir substation, including issuing their cards with the Mir payment application.
