Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In 2023, 3,500 crimes were committed by minors. This was announced at a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on priority tasks in the fields of education, healthcare, digitalization, culture and sports for 2024.

It was noted that one of the painful issues in schools is education and spirituality.

Last year, 3,500 crimes were committed by minors. Of these, 2280 were schoolchildren.

In such situations, the director remains responsible. The khokims, who also head commissions for children’s affairs, do not visit at least one school every week and do not deal with issues of conditions and education of students.

In this regard, it was decided to transfer school psychologist inspectors from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the National Guard system.
