Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan with representatives of the international audit and consulting firm KPMG. The negotiations were led by Deputy Minister Ilhomjon Abdugafarov.

During the meeting, KPMG representatives provided detailed information about consulting services they can offer in the fields of automotive and railway transport. Specifically, they presented proposals aimed at optimizing management and increasing the efficiency of these sectors through modern approaches and solutions.

One of the company’s key proposals was the implementation of the SAP system — a comprehensive digital platform for managing business processes. This system enables data integration, automation of operations, efficient resource allocation, as well as reporting and analytics generation. According to KPMG representatives, using SAP facilitates more accurate and faster work with minimal risk of errors.

The parties discussed promising directions for implementing this platform within the country’s transport system, including both automotive and railway sectors.

Potential projects and mechanisms for cooperation within the framework of digital transformation of the transport sector were also outlined.
