Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Ministry of Preschool Education and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation for a period of 5 years.
Minister of Preschool Education Agrippina Shin and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtier Sayfullaev signed the document.
The memorandum envisages cooperation in the formation of children’s spirituality, primarily in the upbringing of children who can become independent in the country on the basis of independent thinking and intellectual potential.
The purpose of concluding the memorandum is, first of all, instilling a love of culture and art from early childhood. Mandatory visits to museums and theatrical performances on a free basis will contribute to the development of spirituality, aesthetic taste in preschool children.
“Joint projects with the Ministry of Culture will allow us to implement a number of tasks that we have set for ourselves. Indeed, the cultivation of a spiritual and ethical component in children is one of the key factors in the development of society,” Agrippina Shin said.
In order to implement this Memorandum, areas of mutual cooperation were identified, such as raising children in the spiritual, ethical and military-patriotic spirit, respect for national and universal values;
- supporting talented children, creating conditions for their creative and intellectual potential;
- preservation and respect for the historical heritage and national traditions of our people;
- in order to identify and develop talent in each child, to organize cooperation in conducting joint activities in pre-school education;
- organization of educational practice for students of secondary specialized and higher educational institutions under the Ministry of Culture in state-run early childhood education;
At the meeting, heads of departments discussed opportunities for further cooperation and the creation of a roadmap for future projects.
