Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan signed a decree “On further strengthening responsibility and forming an effective management system for justice bodies and institutions within the framework of administrative reforms.”

According to the decree, the Ministry of Justice, together with the NGO “Madad”, will begin the phased creation of legal advisory bureaus of the NGO “Madad” in public service centers in all districts and cities of the country. These bureaus will provide the population with free legal advice and assist in the preparation of procedural documents necessary for out-of-court and judicial resolution of disputes.

As part of the “Mahalla Lawyer” project, a system of short-term free training courses will be organized in citizens’ self-government bodies aimed at constantly improving the legal literacy and skills of chairmen of citizens’ self-government bodies. In addition, every Wednesday a “Legal Propaganda Day” will be held in mahallas, where various events will be held.

With the start of the 2024/2025 academic year, a system of continuous professional development and methodological training of teachers in the subject “Law” will be introduced in schools using a special electronic platform of the Ministry of Justice.
