Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Health Amrillo Inoyatov held a meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

During the conversation, issues of deepening multifaceted cooperation between the two countries in the medical field, joint implementation of new investment projects were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the prospects of bilateral relations in such areas as the modernization of medical institutions in Uzbekistan with the support of China and equipping them with modern equipment, the implementation of joint educational programs in medicine, and the attraction of grant projects.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to hold an Uzbek-Chinese medical forum in October this year in Tashkent.

It was noted that at this prestigious event the possibilities of further expansion of cooperation between the two countries in such areas as

healthcare, medical education, pharmaceuticals, IT, traditional medicine, as well as the exchange of experience and the creation of joint ventures in the field of medicine.
