Ministry of Finance: Revenues of the Anti-Crisis Fund makes up 7.44 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan published information on the income and expenses of the Anti-Crisis Fund, created under the department to fight the coronavirus.

As of 17 July, the revenues of the Anti-Crisis Fund made up 7.44 trillion soums. Of these, 7.32 trillion soums are soft loans from international financial institutions, 123.5 billion soums - funds allocated from the state budget. At the same time, 475 billion soums allocated to the fund from the state budget before attracting soft loans have been restored.

907 billion soums were allocated to finance measures to combat coronavirus, and 2.2 trillion soums - to the social sphere. 684 billion soums were spent on the construction of quarantine complexes, special hospitals and their equipment.

According to the Ministry of Finance, Uzbekistan sent 2 trillion soums to support sectors of the economy. More than 602 billion soums were allocated for expenses related to measures for water supply and irrigation.

375 billion soums were directed to the purchase of test systems, reagents, protective equipment, disinfection and isolation equipment. 11 billion soums were spent on the purchase of special vehicles.

301 billion soums made up additional payments to employees in quarantine centers and allowances to personnel involved in the fight against the pandemic.

354 billion soums have been allocated for the construction of specialized hospitals for 10 thousand places, 251 billion soums for quarantine complexes for 20 thousand places, and 10 billion soums for the reconstruction of diagnostic complexes. 69 billion soums were allocated to specialized hospitals and quarantine complexes in the regions.

The Council of the Federation of Trade Unions received 80 billion soums to support women in low-income families, the Public Works Fund to attract the unemployed to temporary work - 200 billion soums, the State Employment Promotion Fund received 50 billion soums for the unemployed and families in need of social assistance to improve their household plots.

In addition, 24 billion soums were allocated for the salaries of employees of the "Toshkent Metro" and "Toshshahartranskhizmat", 9 billion - to cover transportation costs of "Uzavtotransservis" and "Toshshahartranskhizmat".

Expenditures to support economic sectors made up 2.2 trillion soums. Of these, subsidies for 500 billion soums were received by the enterprises of the Thermal Power Plants, and 401 billion - by Uzbekneftegaz. A loan in the amount of 101 billion soums was provided to Uzbekistan Airports, in the amount of 406 billion - to Uzbekistan Airways, in the amount of 40 billion - to cover the primary costs of the First Rubber Industrial Plant. 20 billion soums were directed to the Tourism Support Fund.

602 billion soums have been allocated for water supply and irrigation measures. Of these, 335 billion soums were allocated for the construction and reconstruction of irrigation facilities. 61 billion was a loan from "Khududi Suv Taminoti", 53 billion - from the State Committee for Ecology.
