Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the quarantine period, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan was one of the first to organize work in a remote mode to avoid cases of infection of employees, all visitors and members of their families. In the early days, more than 40% of employees, including those with preschool children and primary school students, were sent on leave.

The Ministry continues its uninterrupted activity in financing priority state programs and timely payment of salaries to budget employees, as well as ensuring measures to combat the spread of coronavirus infection.

Given these crucial tasks, the team decided to introduce an online mode of work, as well as self-isolation of personnel.

The Ministry of Finance team will continue to work under the supervision of doctors in the following order:

The leadership, headed by the minister, deputy ministers, chiefs and individual employees of key departments will, as before, conduct activities in the building of the ministry.

The Treasury will continue to operate, providing all services on accounts. For this, a separate group of employees is involved in a separate building.

The remaining employees will continue to work remotely.

The Ministry assured that the payment of salaries and benefits, as well as the fulfillment of the tasks and functions assigned to the Ministry, does not stop.

Regional, district, city divisions of the Ministry of Finance and the Treasury are operating normally.
