Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Due to temporary restrictions on the operation of automobile gas stations in certain regions, caused by a cold front, the volume of automotive gasoline available for exchange trading will be temporarily increased by two times. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.
According to the ministry, necessary reserves have been created in all regions to ensure stable supply.
The Ministry emphasizes that, if necessary, the volume of gasoline available for exchange trading may be further increased depending on demand and supply. The issue of fully meeting the population's needs for gasoline is under strict government control.
The ministry specifically highlights that all measures are being taken to ensure the uninterrupted supply of fuel during the current autumn-winter period.
In this regard, private gas station owners are strongly advised to refrain from artificially inflating prices and to sell gasoline in accordance with established quality and quantity standards.
Working groups continue to carry out control measures on the ground. The ministry assures that any unjustified price increases will be addressed.
