Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan has stated that there are no restrictions on the supply of natural gas for greenhouses.

According to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 26 September  2024, No. 339 "On Additional Measures to Stimulate Greenhouse Farms," greenhouses are entitled to use natural gas provided they make timely payments.

The ministry emphasized that there are no restrictions on gas supplies to greenhouses.

Greenhouse owners can use natural gas freely by paying the established fees, the ministry clarified.

Additionally, the ministry reminded about the gas payment procedure. During the first three months of the growing season (October, November, and December), greenhouses are required to make an advance payment of 50% of the total amount, with the remaining balance due by the end of the month. Starting from the following months, a 100% prepayment is required for each month.
