Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan has announced that issues in the electricity billing system have been fully resolved.

Previously, consumers encountered a problem where their account balances showed more funds than actually available. Social media reports indicated that, for example, a payment of 10,000 soums appeared as 20,000 soums in the user’s balance.

The Ministry of Energy explained that this occurred due to a technical glitch in the payment systems.

Currently, all technical issues related to electricity payment systems have been completely resolved.

Consumers can now pay for electricity through any payment system, the ministry noted.
