Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan has denied the circulating reports about planned increases in salaries, pensions, and benefits, calling them untrue.

"The information regarding the increase in salaries, pensions, and benefits is inaccurate," stated the official announcement from the ministry.

The ministry clarified that there were messages circulating on social media suggesting a planned 10% increase in payments starting from 1 March and 1 August 2025. However, these claims have no basis.

"Any official information about salaries and pensions is published exclusively through official government sources," the ministry emphasized.

Citizens are advised to rely only on verified information and avoid spreading unverified details.
