Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 15 February, Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Security of the Republic of Korea Ko Gyu Chang.

The active participation of South Korean specialists in recent years in the development of digital technologies, their cooperation in the implementation of major projects in the field of e-government and IT education are evidence of mutual trust and agreement.

During the meeting, issues of raising to a qualitatively new level of cooperation, in particular, the issues of implementing promising projects within the framework of developing the export of IT and BPO services based on demographic trends in Korea and Uzbekistan, broader involvement of youth in Uzbekistan in the field of ICT and their providing high paying jobs were discussed.
