Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov held a field reception to study and resolve emerging problems in the field of ICT. Previously, the date of the field reception was announced by the press service of the Ministry.

Today, on 17 April, at Qarshi Technopark LLC, under the leadership of the Minister of ICT Sherzod Shermatov, together with responsible persons of industry organizations for legal entities and individuals, business entities, with the participation of students, an on-site reception was held. More than 250 citizens took part in it.

Industry enterprises, organizations and institutions, mobile telecom operators, business entities engaged in the production of software products, with their mobile and stationary stands, also took part in the field reception.

During the reception, citizens received requests to develop the telecommunications sector, in particular, telephone and postal communications, improve the quality of Internet services, IT education, organize BPO centers, increase scientific potential, develop freelance and outsourcing services, attract investment in IT -sphere, increasing the export of software products, targeted use of empty buildings and auditoriums, as well as proposals for improving the quality of ICT services.

Industry enterprises and organizations resolved a number of issues related to the provision of telephone, Internet services, mobile communications, and improving the quality of education right on the spot. Appeals requiring additional time for the purpose of detailed study were taken under control.

Citizens, students, and entrepreneurs who took part in the visiting reception noted the importance of holding such events on a regular basis to strengthen interaction and develop the sphere.

On the issues and problems raised at the field reception, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications gave instructions to the responsible persons to resolve them.
