Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan holds meeting with the Russian State University of Oil and Gas in Moscow

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Sultanov, during his working trip to Moscow, held a meeting at the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin.

During communication with representatives of the management and teaching staff of the RSU, A. Sultanov noted the significant role that this university has played and continues to have in the process of training highly qualified specialists for the oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan.

Based on this, on the basis of the decree of the President of Uzbekistan from 12 January 2007, the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas began to operate in Tashkent.

The Minister of Energy spoke about the close interaction of the fuel and energy complex with the RSU Branch in Tashkent, about his personal meetings with students, discussion of their promising projects and innovative ideas for the development of the oil and gas industry.

Representatives of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkina, for their part, expressed great interest in joint projects with their Tashkent branch, more complete interaction in order to support innovative student projects, exchange of experience and innovations.

The RSU Branch in Tashkent is a separate structural subdivision of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, which trains specialists of all levels, including the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel. The main task of the Branch is to train highly qualified specialists for the oil and gas industry of the republic in accordance with educational programs adopted at the Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
