Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, during government hour in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, announced the development of an algorithm of actions in case of abnormal cold and emergency situations.

This algorithm envisages measures to provide the population and social facilities with electricity, gas and heat in emergency situations, the minister noted.

According to him, if necessary, large consumers such as enterprises and factories will be disconnected.

Reserves of fuel oil and gas have also been created. According to him, the volume of fuel oil reserves has been increased from 46,000 tons last year (as of 22 November 2022) to 340,000 tons this year.

A guaranteed gas reserve has been created. The minister noted that a new installation has been introduced at the compressor station, which allows receiving up to 40 million cubic meters of gas from underground gas storage facilities (last year 14 million cubic meters).
