Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Experts from the Institute of Macroeconomic and Regional Research (IMRI) conducted regular monitoring of prices for food products for 21 items in the largest supermarket chains in Tashkent in March 2024.
The monitoring results showed that for 11 items the minimum prices decreased compared to the previous month*. Thus, the decrease in prices for cabbage was 31.4%, cucumber - 19.8%, sunflower oil - 9.7%, beef (fillet) - 8.3%.
For 4 items, the minimum prices remained unchanged. Among them are rice, pasta, bananas, sugar.
Prices have increased for 6 items. The leader in price growth is table beets. This increase is due to seasonal factors.
