Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Milk processing enterprises are exempt from value added tax. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.

According to the ministry, the relevant changes have been made to the List of food products produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan approved by the government, the turnover for the sale of which is exempt from VAT.

According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, the item “milk” was added to the list.

This decision was made in order to create additional conditions for the development of the dairy industry and to strengthen the cooperation of processing enterprises with farms.
