Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 9 to 10 September 2024, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will make an official visit to Uzbekistan. This was announced by the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Bekzod Khidoyatov.
According to him, the visit will include a meeting of the joint commission at the level of the governments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
According to the Russian Government’s press service, the commission meeting will address current issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, investment, and culture.
Special attention will be given to advancing major projects in the sectors of industry, energy, transportation, and agriculture, as well as in other areas of mutual interest.
During the visit, a Joint Communiqué will be adopted, and a number of intergovernmental and interagency documents will be signed.
Additionally, the head of the Russian government will review the activities of manufacturing and industrial enterprises in Tashkent and visit several other sites.
