Mikhail Mishustin instructs Russian Government to fulfill all cooperation plans with Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has called on government members to strictly adhere to all cooperation agreements with Uzbekistan.

During a cabinet meeting, reflecting on his official visit to Uzbekistan on September 9-10, he emphasized the importance of actively advancing major joint projects, even in the face of a challenging international environment.

Mishustin noted that Uzbekistan and Russia are reliable partners, and cooperation between the two nations continues to deepen despite difficult external conditions. He emphasized that the intention to develop large-scale joint projects was reaffirmed, particularly in key sectors such as industry, transport, energy, scientific research, agriculture, and other strategic areas.

"It is crucial to fully realize the potential of mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan, building on traditions of friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual respect, and to create conditions for economic growth and improving the quality of life for our citizens," the Prime Minister added.

He instructed deputy prime ministers, heads of federal executive bodies, and ministers in relevant fields to ensure the implementation of the agreements reached.
