Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and Senior Portfolio Manager of the German Development Bank KfW Vitalis Ritter signed a number of bilateral documents.

The sides signed a grant agreement for the implementation of the project “Support for vocational education in the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

The agreement envisages the allocation of grant funds in the amount of €16 million for vocational training, including €14 million for the construction, repair and equipment of single-center employment centers in Uzbekistan and €2 million to support the project.

The sides also signed grant agreements on the implementation of the project “Modernization of the system of training and advanced training of medical personnel in the city of Termez”, as well as on the implementation of certain measures related to this project.

The agreements stipulate the creation of a simulation training center in Termez in the amount of €13 million and grant funds in the amount of €500 thousand for the implementation of activities to provide expert services and improve the skills of personnel.
