Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Director of the International Institute of Central Asia (MICA) Javlon Vakhabov held a meeting in Bishkek with the rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan A. Kylychev.

There was a presentation of the activities of the Diplomatic Academy created in 2001, the founder of which was the Government of Kyrgyzstan represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Initially, training was carried out in three programs: “International Relations”, “Jurisprudence” and “Economics”. Since 2017, training has been conducted in the areas of “Management” and “Business Management”, and in 2018 admission to the courses “Journalism” and “Linguistics” was carried out.

The leadership of the Diplomatic Academy highly appreciated the attention of the Government of Uzbekistan to carrying out deep reforms in the field of higher education and improving the system of retraining of personnel in the country, modernizing the system of higher and secondary specialized education, introducing modern forms and technologies of education, developing science and research programs.

The parties expressed interest in exchanging experts and researchers, developing and implementing modern methods for training specialists in the field of foreign policy, international relations and law, joint research on modern foreign policy and internal socio-economic processes taking place in the countries of Central Asia, as well as publishing joint publications .

An agreement was reached to establish cooperation by signing a corresponding Memorandum between MICA and the Diplomatic Academy.
