Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with the Permanent Representative of Finland to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Vesa Hakkinen.

During the negotiations, the sides exchanged views on the interaction within the OSCE, as well as parties’ vision for improving the activities of the Organization.

The Deputy Foreign Minister informed representatives of Finland about the large-scale reforms being carried out in our country, as well as the main directions of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy.

Mutual interest was expressed in implementing joint projects within the OSCE in the areas of “green economy” and “green energy”, mitigating the negative consequences of climate change.

The parties also discussed certain issues on the regional and international agenda.
